Overnight oats

These days, mornings can become pretty hectic. Depending on how much Simona has eaten for dinner the night before, I may or may not have 5 minutes to get something ready for breakfast.

I love the idea of overnight old-fashioned – the oats dissolve so well in the yogurt and become soft and chewey. Perfect for toddler mouths! Enjoy!

Ingredients:

1 cup organic plain yogurt (we use yogurt with higher fat percentage)

1/2 cup old-fashioned oats

1 cup fruit (berries or any other fruit, cut up in small cubes)

Optional: you can sprinkle coconut flakes or sprinkle any seeds (as long as your child can digest them)

Directions:

  1. Mix together yogurt and oats, leave for at least 3-4 hours
  2. Prior to serving, add fruit and any preferred toppings
  3. Enjoy!
